Herb has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years. Herb has a strong passion for investments, developing strong relationships, and planning for clients’ retirement. He focuses on developing strategic asset allocation, investing in individual stocks and bonds, and utilizing top managers to customize a tax efficient portfolio for each client. Moreover, Herb loves speaking to clients about the markets and working with them on their financial retirement plan. He works closely with young professionals, medical professionals, lawyers, business owner, and retirees.
Prior to Chen Wealth Services, Herb held senior management positions while working closely with clients. Herb served as Senior and Lead Financial Advisor at Raymond James, Merrill Lynch, Family Office Director, Fund Manager, and Investment Manager at Huntington Bank, Managing Director of Sterling Family Office (subsidiary of National City Bank), and Senior Investment Officer of Private Client Group of National City Bank. Herb also worked in New York City for Citigroup, JP Morgan, SG Cowen, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Herb graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, with a B.S. degree in Finance and Information Systems, and earned a M.B.A. degree in Finance, Information Systems, and Management from New York University Stern Business School. Herb has also earned his CPFA® designations. Herb is a currently on Development Board of Riverside Hospital and the Asian Festival Board. He previously served as the board of trustee member of Columbus Association for Performing Arts (CAPA). Herb enjoys golfing, the arts, and traveling and experiencing different cultures.
